This class opens with some gentle movement, followed by a yoga nidrā meditation. Yoga nidrā is an ancient meditation technique where you are guided to a deep state of conscious relaxation, moving awareness from the external world to the internal. It's practiced lying down, using blankets, bolsters, and other props to create a cozy rest nest.
This class is perfect for beginners as the movements are slow and mindful and there's nothing to do in yoga nidrā but listen, and rest.
